摘要

The simulated annealing (SA) algorithm has beenrnpopularly adopted for the optimum fuel assembly (FA)rnloading pattern (LP) search calculations in reload corerndesign of light water reactors. However, it has a majorrndrawback of long computing time because it requiresrnneutronics evaluation of tens of thousands of trial LPs in therncourse of the optimization. To reduce the computing time, arnsimple -dimensional (D) neutronics model (D modelrnhereafter) has been used . The problem here is that thernfinal LP from the D SA calculations often turns out to bernunsatisfactory when it was subjected to detailed evaluationrnby D neutronics evaluation model (D model hereafter). Arnsimple and straightforward way of resolving this problemrnwould be to perform D model SA calculation at thernexpense of a much longer computation time.
