The paper advances a sort of method to forecast and evaluate medium voltage power supply system reliability, based on the research of medium voltage power supply system reliability and the city and country's power network rebuilding in HuNan from 1998 to 2000. This method can be used to forecast medium voltage power supply system in advance and evaluate it afterwards. In the paper the problems that should attend emphatically are point out, The paper has instructional signification to the development of power system, especially to the layout and construction of medium voltage power supply system.
