On the Characteristics of the Digital Library and the Influence to the Work of Reader Service

摘要

This thesis analyses the major five characteristics of the digital library and the influence to the work of reader service, discusses the new characteristics of the reader service work of the digital library and the changes of the reader service's manner or basic of it. On the angle of the library reader service, the service function of the digital library has basic changes differ from the traditional library. The digital library has deeply spread the depth and the width of the work to the reader service, which makes high level and individuation service possible.
