摘要

In order to explore formulation design theory and methods for high energy insensitive polymer bonded explosives (PBXs), the empirical function of impact sensitivity versus compositions of TATB/HMX-based PBX formulations was excavated on the basis of systematic analysis of experimental data of such formulations during the development of safety high energy explosives in the United States of American at LLNL. A mathematical model of nonlinear optimization design for high energy insensitive PBX formulations was set up accordingly, using the excavated empirical function as nonlinear constraint condition, and the cylinder specific kinetic energy as energy objective function. RX-26-AF, the high energy insensitive PBX formulation developed by LLNL, could be designed in theory by the model. The designed results are in good agreement with experimental results reported in the literature, indicating that the coupling designs of energy and sensitivity of composite explosives are taken into consideration in the nonlinear optimization design method, and that a theoretical and methodological guidance for high energy insensitive PBX formulation designs is supposed to be provided.
