摘要

In this study, the problem of unsupervised extraction ofrndrainage network from elevation data is addressed. Arnself-adaptive system and its application to the problemrnare described. The system incorporates variablernthresholding in conjunction with an adaptive algorithmrnto extract the drainage network through an iterativernparameter adjusting process. The algorithm and itsrnapplication to DEM data are illustrated.
