On condition of limited resources, businesses should put resources on those lucrative customers. So it is necessary to carry out customer segmentation, especially for the air freight industry being in the fierce competition. Drawing on the theory of customer value, and combining it with the management features of the air freight customers to construct the forecasting model of customer value, on the basis of these, this article puts forward the method of customer segmentation based on the technology of business intelligence and then talks over its implementation steps.
