Lessons Learnt from Operations of Some RCC Dams

摘要

This article presents the return of RCC experience works designed,constructed and operated by EDF in France and abroad (Riou dam,Petit Saut dam in French Guyana,Nakai dam in Laos,Rizzanèse dam) as a critical analysis of the various problems encountered both during first impounding and after 3 to 24 years of operation.Lessons learned from these examples are presented.It is proposed that all professionals working in the field of RCC dam,inclueling Owners,Engineers,Consultants,Contractors and Operators,communicate more on this subject of RCC dams performances in order to benefit from these problems with useful information to all.
