Business orgnaization as a complex system

摘要

In the modern industrial environment of mass production and mass consuption, most of ocmpanies have utilized the bureaucratic organizations for efficient management. Howver, facing the globalization of world economy, intense market competition, radical change of information technology, nad so on, the present companies are obliged to create a new type of organizations characterized by flexibility and adaptability to new and dynamic environments. In this article, we review the theories of complexity briefly and discuss the implications of complexity theories on the management of business organizations.
