Recommendations for Automated Test Requirements Management

In the aerospace community, requirements data has a way of living beyond the end ofrnproduct validation when it might be expected that it has fulfilled its purpose. Not only are thesernrequirements then used to develop test strategies and acceptance limits for the production line,rnbut certain aerospace standards and product support agreements demand a transmittal of testrnrequirements to the airlines and their representatives. The management of requirements data as itrnprogresses from the interface control document, to test equipment engineering and ultimately tornthe airframer's customer is explored. Specifically, a set of recommendations for a tool to supportrnproduction test requirement management is proposed.
