Ontology-Enabled Validation of System Structure

This paper describes a vision for team-based synthesis of engineering systems,rnenhanced by technologies for ontology-based computing, cast in a Semantic Web framework. Asrna first step, in this paper we describe an ontology-enabled procedure for validation of systemrnstructure. We apply the procedure to the validation of connectivity relationships in a homerntheatre system.
