From Scene to Screen: Colour Accuracy in Computer Simulations used for Psychophysics

RADIANCE can render colour accurately if spectral approximations with more than three wavebands are used. To display the N=27 and N=81 approximations on a monitor at least 12 bit per channel are necessary. We currently investigate colour accuracy in more complex scenes.
