Design optimisation of human exercises

摘要

This paper introduces the idea of design optimisation with respect to ergonomic properties, in particular the design of exercise machines used for strength training or rehabilitation purposes. The analysis problem and the body modelling system AnyBody are introduced, and a sample design optimisation problem is defined and solved.
