A Framework for Optimization of Nonhierarchic System

摘要

Practical difficulties that are inherent to the solution of optimization problems by nonhierarchic decomposition are discussed briefly. For moving away from "pseudo-optimal" points, a strategy is presented by combining the subspace optimization and the move limits-based tradeoff method. Examples are provided for illustration.
