摘要

Restriction methods in topology optimization of linear elastic continua are considered. The ill-posed optimization problem that results from a straightforward mathematical modelling is transformed into a well-posed one by restricting the feasible set. This paper (ⅰ) presents two new restriction methods, topology optimization using a finite dimensional formulation and L~p-constrained topology optimization, and (ⅱ) relates them to three established restriction methods, perimeter and slope constrained topology optimization and a filter method.
