摘要

This paper intends to reveal the potential obstacles that may hinder students from understanding arnlistening text, to discuss the right procedures and techniques that a teacher should adopt in classrnand to suggest some post-listening activities that can be turned into oral practice. My teachingrnexperiments and the discussions among the students have proved the view that only by takingrnthese factors into consideration, can a teacher expect to help his/her students become involvedrnlisteners and active speakers in class.
