This paper mainly describes the application of modern highrnquality and high speed drilling technology in SZ36-1 oil fieldrndevelopment and construction of phase II, and summarizes therninnovation spirit and achievement during the project. Therndrilling project had highlights as follows. Firstly, therndistribution of cluster wells becomes denser. The distancernbetween wells had been reduced from 2m %2m to 1.5m %1.8m.rnSecondly, the number of wells in platform was more than 35rnwells and the controlling oil reservoir area had increased morernthan two times. Finally, the quality and efficiency of drillingrnoperation has achieved new level. The drilling operation of threernwellhead platforms with three platforms spent 246 days of drillrnplatform. The total numbers were 78 wells and footages werern149946m. The average depth per well was 1922m and averagernoperation period is 3.15 days per well. The quality of all wells isrnperfect. During the operation, broke through four records ofrnChina National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) inrnproduction well ten times and create 1.61 days new record thatrnis the shortest operation period. Compared with the other wells,rnthe drilling efficiency and operation period reached the bestrnlevel of CNOOC. It provided helpful suggestions andrnexperiences for the future development and construction of oilrnfield.
