Ultrashort radius radial well drilling and completion techniquernby high pressure jet flow is referred to as the Ultrashort radiusrn(0.3meter) radial horizontal well drilling and completionrntechniques. It can be applied both in new and old wells. Itsrnmain technique is to use high pressure jet flow energy, givenrnby a special high pressure jet tube, to penetrate and elongate arnnumber of lateral well bores radiated from the main well borernin the same layer (or different layer) so as to expose the payrnzone as much as possible and increases the EOR.rnThis paper has described three key parts of high pressure jetrnflow technique for ultrashort radius radial well drilling andrncompletion: big diameter underreaming technique; designrnprinciple of diverting system; and option of well completionrnmethods. And introduces whole process and key parts of thisrntechnique combined with its application results in JinrnWell#04-19 and Jin Well#38-303 of Liaohe Oilfield. Thisrnpaper has also briefly depicted the future development of thisrntechnique in the Oilfield and its main problems must bernresolved later, as well as its economy and feasibility.
