Fast CU~+-conducting ceramics containgin NASICON-type CuTI_2(PO_4)_3 and Cu_3(PO_4)_2 phases, which three-dimensionally interlock with each other, has been successfully preparted by the controlled crytallization of glass in the Cu-Ti-P-O system. The electricla conductivity of the glass-ceramic was -3*10~(-4)Scm~(-1) at 300 deg C. The obtained glass-ceamics was applied to an oxygenconcertration cell operating at low temeprature such as 100 deg C. The electromotive force of the sensor showed good Nernstian response. THe mechanism for O_2 sensing is discusses in terms of the redox reaction between CU~+ ion in the dense glass-ceramic and O_2 gas.
