An advanced electromagnetic code for the analysis and design of electromechanical apparatuses

The paper presents the features of a two-dimensional code for electromagnetic field analysis. The structure of the code, based on a hybrid Finite Element -Boundary Element field formulation, is outlined with particular reference to its characteristic features.rnSome examples of application of the code to the analysis of different electromagnetic devices are finally shown and discussed.
