Despite the distance separating the sampling locations and the void ratiodifferences, samples collected at the slopes impose similar HCFs. It wasfound that the MDI can be used to accurately obtain the saturatedhydraulic of conductivity only if a perfect leveled contact between thesteel disk and the ground surface is assured. Finally, it can be concluded that the steep slopes are composed of weatheredgranite with lower stability and higher hydraulic conductivity compared to the less affected level locations, which in turnindicates the high vulnerability of the existing slopes to collapse in the case of heavy rainfall or small shakes.
