These instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing camera-ready papers for conference proceedings. Please carefully follow the instructions to ensure legibility and uniformity. A method for detecting the fundamental current based on 2nd order series resonant filter which is derived from the model of RLC series circuit is proposed. Assume that the resonance frequency of RLC series circuit is equal to the fundamental signal, amplified fundamental component and attenuated harmonics will appear across the capacitor, thus the fundamental component can be extracted from the input signal of RLC series circuit. The influence on the detection precision by quality factor Q is also analyzed, and the transfer function of detection circuit is derived which leads to the design of corresponding 2nd series resonant filter. Along with the advantages such as easy to design and calculate, the method is suitable for fundamental current detection of three-phase or single-phase active power filter (APF). The results of simulation and experiment confirm the validity of the proposed detection method.
