摘要

Thirty-five Au deposits and prospects were discovered in the Chifeng-Chaoyang Archean massif, China. All these Au occurrences can be subdivided into three types: (1) metamorphic-intrusion related; (2) intrusion-related; (3) schist hosted. The first two types of Au deposits are spatially and temporally related to Mesozoic granitoid intrusions that are considered to be the results of the subduction of Pacific oceanic plate beneath the Eurasian continent. In contrast, the Archean schist hosted deposits, as typified by the Caihulanzi Au deposit, are genetically related to Archean metamorphism and Mesozoic igneous activity.
