Attitude toward Safety at Beach for Korean People

摘要

There are many victims for swimming at beach in Korea every year. The reasons can be from many sources such as facility, attitude, and environment. In this paper, this research tries to find what Korean think of swimming safety. During the July-August of 1999, people who come to east beach, which is favorite place for Korean, was chosen. Sample size was 591. Survey was conducted for these people. Many Koreans are not very sensitive to safety. However, a related local government persuaded the tourist who visits beach and preparation for possible accident will be needed including above facts.
