Gas Bottom-blowing process is used widely in high temperature steel smelting process, but bubble back- attack will go along with bottom injection of gas, it will erode seriously tuyere and refractory near the tuyere. In order to extend used time of refractory, it can use low temperature stirring gas to absorb abundant heat from molten iron and form iron accretion on the tuyere. In this study, it uses liquid wax to simulate molten iron and lets air to pass through liquid nitrogen for lowering air temperature, then liquid wax transfers heat to low temperature air. Meanwhile, it forms wax accretion. We will discuss the size and velocity of accretion in difference gas flow rate and temperature of wax situation. The results indicate that accretion size is bigger and growing velocity is faster, when gas flow rate increases or temperature of wax decreases.
