摘要

This paper presents the use of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as a methodology for the design process of technological processes and their corrective and preventive actions. The case study is based on estimation of the risks (risk priority number) that can lead to determine the ways to improvement the performances of process, respectively a high reliability and quality. An example of a Pareto diagram illustrates how FMEA applies to the early stages and controls design of industrial products. The effectiveness of prioritization can be significantly improved by using a simple graphical tool, as described in this paper.
