摘要

In the field of high-energy-density science including the laser fusion, the increase of peak intensity becomes more important, and Institute of laser engineering (ILE), Osaka University has developed 10-kJ Nd:glass PW laser (LFEX: Laser for Fusion Experiments)[l, 2]. LFEX is a four-beam chirped pulse amplification (CPA) system consisting of 2×2 arrays. The missions of LFEX are to achieve 5-keV temperature of laser fusion plasma, the concentration of high-power laser technology aiming at the development of leading edge technology in Japan, and the realization of world highest peak power to explore new scientific fields. Based on LFEX amplifier technology, we have done a conceptual design of large-aperture optical parametric chirped pulse amplification (OPCPA) system of 0.1 EW/beam.
