Experimental Study on Deep-hole Pre-cracking Blasting for Roadway Driving in Coal Seam with Lower Permeability

摘要

Coal gas is one of the most important factors which affects the safe and fast roadway driving in Huainan coal field with low permeability and high consistency of coal gas. The used method of driving combining gas drainage without cracking coal seam, is inefficient and time consuming, which reduce the speed of roadway driving largely. The experimental study of deep hole blasting for pre-cracking coal seam for roadway driving at No. 1 Mine of Panji in Huainan, indicates that it is more efficient to drain gas out with improving the permeability of coal seam, and accelerates roadway driving as well as get more beneficial on economics. Practical application proves that the method is an important and promising technique for roadway driving in the coal seam with lower permeability and prone to coal-and-gas outburst.
