In this study, the feasibility of two stages of aerobic precoating treatment and seed with anaerobic digestion sludge was approved and the acclimatization methods of both acidogenic and methanogenic microflora were probed by the approach of quick starting up of two-phase anaerobic reactor. According to the operation, when the condition of feed was controlled by 500mg/l of COD, 10h of HRT, 4.0-7.0 of pH for acidogenic-phase, and 6.8-7.2 of pH for methanogenic-phase, the quick start-up of the reactor was accomplished within about 30 days, besides, the acclimatization of methanogenic microflora within 45 days.
