The band-pass FSS radome can efficiently reduce the radar cross section (RCS) of the antenna because of its excellent transmission characteristics, i.e., flat top and sharp fall-off, which is especially applicable for stealth antenna technology. Due to the transmission advantage of the hexagon loop, the simulation software of Ansoft HFSS based on the Finite element method (FEM) is employed for the analysis of the FSSs' radome. The results show that, for the designed radome with the multi-screen FSSs and multi-layer dielectrics, its transmission curves have a better flat top and broader band-pass in normal working frequency bands, and a sharper fall-off outside band-pass. In addition, the corresponding sensitivity of the incident angles and polarization is also better.
