The ability of collecting dust from longitudinal transverse collecting plates is determined by the power of electric field and the vortex which is engendered as gas passes transverse collecting plates. The model of effluxion is established and the result is calculated, which indicates that not only the electrostatic precipitator with Longitudinal transverse collecting plates fully utilizes the effect of vortex field, but also the parameter of the ESP is reasonable. The two-dimensional mathematical model of carried charged particles is deduced, and the calculation of dust control efficiency in the ESP with Longitudinal transverse collecting plates is set up and testified. The study improves application and development technology of electric dusting.
