摘要

The paper deals with practical aspects of the digital control system design: choose of the sampling period and influence of the dampling period on the transfer function of the controller under finite word length in the digital control systems. Choosing of the sampling period could be based on the Shannon smapling theorem, but behavior of such discretep-time system is much worse then the corresonding continuous-time system. Therefore it is more suitable is to choose it on the base of a good time response of the system in comparions with continuos-time system. Likewise high sampling rate can cause numeric problems in the finite worldlenth realization of the digital controller. Both of those aspects are discussed in proesented paper and evaluated on a practical example of the digital system design.
