The basic process chain and metrology are established, and quality demonstrated on the Master Spherical Segment. The process-chain is compatible with segment asphericity, and the first aspheric segment is proceeding as expected. In parallel, process-speed and edge-quality are being optimized in readiness for the second and subsequent segments.
