摘要

The performance of the polysulfonamide fiber (PSA) has been investigated by low temperature glow discharge plasma in this paper. According to observation of scanning electron microscope (SEM),the surface roughness degree of PSA fiber increase after treated by low temperature plasma. The experimental results show that under the treatment of different plasma conditions,the PSA fiber surfaces appear the varying degree physical and chemical etching. It's found that the friction coefficient and hydrophilicity of PSA fiber treated by low temperature plasma improve obviously and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) shows that the reason is the etching and the increase of the ratio O1s/O1s on the surface of PSA fiber. Variations of tensile breaking strength of PSA with different parameters are analyzed.
