In this paper, 50% partial gap covers are developed to reduce the air resistance created by the gap flow through the container gaps. The following conclusions are obtained:rn1. The full side cover reduces the air resistance by 27% at 30degrees of wind angle. While an 18-19% reduction of air resistance can be achieved by the developed partial gap covers, Gap cover 2 and Gap cover 6.
