The weathering element of ancient sites were destroyed in the form of stabilization lost and getting off the surface due to geography and hydrate.Besides these weathering factors,the protection of the ancient sites was directly influenced by the difference of area,environmental condition,climate and the soil's chemical component.For example,in Pingyao ancient city,we tested the inner and outer city's environment condition and found out that the harmful components'content were different in the micro-environment because of the diversity of cross-ventilation's degree,the structure around and the vegetation's amount.Environmental efflorescence factor,such as NO2,SO2,and ultraviolet radiation are more harmful to the ancient city wall,and the efflorescence components of the ancient city's surface are different due to the factor.As a result,the component's content of sulphate and nitrate are different.Ascertaining the main environmental efflorescence of the wall and its affection degree by evaluating the relationship between Pingyao ancient city's micro -environment and the efflorescence of monument's surface may have actively role of technical basement for establishing the scheme of ancient city and its science and technology protection.
