Mychetoma caused by nocardia asterodides accompanied with sle, case report

A 61-year-old woman, worker of a pulp factory, suffered from recurrent skin nodules followed by ulceration and sinuses on her nape for 11 years were admitted in November 1990. Early in 1979, a nodular lesion of 2 cm in diameter first appeared on her nape. Within the 2 following years surgical exicsion of the lesions was performed for two times. A diagnosis of actinomycosis was made at that time.
