Delight: A DAYLIGHTING AND ELECTRIC LIGHTING SIMULATION ENGINE

Delight is a simulation engine for daylight andrnelectric lighting system analysis in buildings.rnDelight calculates interior illuminance levels fromrndaylight, and the subsequent contribution requiredrnfrom electric lighting to meet a desired interiorrnilluminance. Delight has been specifically designedrnto integrate with a building thermal simulation on arntimestep basis, for whole-building analysis. Thisrnpaper describes the simulation methods used inrnDelight and some of the key details of softwarernimplementation.
