摘要

Sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in coal seams can reduce the emissions of this greenhouse gas into the atmosphere which has become a serious environmental problem,especially for China.Meanwhile,the combed methane (CBM) can be produced,which may offset the expense of sequestration.Advances relevant to this issue in China are reviewed,such as the competitive multicomponent gas adsorption,sorption-induced coal swelling,gas production enhancement mechanism,numerical simulation for enhanced CBM recovery (ECBM) and field experience.It is suggested that in future work some aspects should be paid more attention,such as,coal structure change caused by CO2 sorption,swelling experiments including coals of different maturity and gases of different proportion,the impact of water on ECBM effect,the detailed and exact model establishing,economic feasibility and environmental safety of CO2 sequestration.
