Aiming at the problems of abstraction, lots of concept and difficult to understand in compiling principles course teaching, applied comparative teaching method to the related knowledge, obtained good effect. Combined with the actual teaching situation, the paper listed some comparative knowledge points in grammar and language, lexical analysis, syntax analysis, syntax directed translation and intermediate code generation, code optimization, code generation of compiling principles course teaching, and enumerates some examples. In the process of compiling principles teaching, applying comparative teaching method to related knowledge points properly could reinforce students' understanding of theoretical knowledge and the concept, arouse students' enthusiasm, broad the students' thinking to solve problems, make students obtain systematic knowledge and real ability.
