Analysis on the Development of Basketball Course in Sport Department of Normal Universities of China

摘要

In order to promote the reform and development of basketball course, this paper analyses the training objectives, course setting, teaching methods and teaching content of the basketball course in the sports department of normal universities. Results show that two main kinds are included and they are compulsory and selected course. There are a lot in common between normal universities and sports universities in the training objectives and teaching content of basketball course. The traditional way of teaching is still a hit and deep analysis is needed so as to find the best teaching content and teaching methods that can fit the characteristics of middle and primary school and meet the needs of society needs.
