Grader Service Life Estimation Based on Load Spectrum

摘要

There exists significant diversities of service life among similar graders used in different working conditions, and this paper provides statistics of grader loading conditions in India and China. The analysis of grader loads using load spectrum shows that the grader average working load increases significantly when used in India or other subtropical areas. The analysis of service life based on σ-N fatigue curve indicates that the service life of working device would decrease exponentially as working load increases obviously, which is consistent with the actual service conditions.
