The capture cross sections and capture gamma-ray spectra of ~(80,82)Se were measured in an incident neutron energy region from 10 to 100 keV, using a 1.5-ns pulsed neutron source by the ~7Li(p,n)~7Be reaction and a large anti-Compton Nal(Tl) gamma-ray spectrometer. A pulse-height weighting technique was applied to observed capture gamma-ray pulse-height spectra to obtain capture yields. The capture cross sections were derived with the errors of about 5% and 5-20% for ~(80)Se and ~(82)Se, respectively, by using the standard capture cross sections of ~(197)Au. The present cross section results were compared with previous experimental data and the evaluated values in JENDL-3.3, ENDF/B-VI.8 and ENDF/B-VII.0. The capture gamma-ray spectra of ~(80,82)Se were derived by unfolding the capture gamma-ray pulse-height spectra.
