Research on Evaluating functions and structures of Comprehensive Passenger Transport Hub

Comprehensive passenger transport hubs are distributing centers for a large number of passengers in big cities. The functions and structures are the core of transport hubs to realize their service objectives. There are three main constituents in the evaluating system for comprehensive hub, overall effectiveness, level of service, and emergency power. Firstly, the paper sets forth the content and relationship of functions and structures. Then it designs the evaluating index system for comprehensive passenger transport hub. The evaluating indexes are chosen and divided according to the difference between entirety and typical facilities. Finally, based on traffic characteristics under normal and abnormal circumstances, the criteria of indexes are established. The research can provide some references for designing and evaluating comprehensive passenger transport hubs.
