摘要

Right now the Urban Rapid Rail Transit URRT) prevails in urban development in China. The paper aims at the interaction mechanism between subway and urban space. Based on the Spatial Economy theory, three aspects are studied, which are the interations between subway and land use, between subway and unban space,and between subway station and urban hierarchical systems. Then, setting Shanghai xinzhuang station as an example, this dissertation examines the empirical studies. Finally, it concludes as follows:when the increase in land rent is greater than the demolition and construction costs,land use changing around the subway stations may come out. When the trade freeness degree reaches to the break point, the district spatial structures happen to concentrate abruptly. The route ependence is a centrifugal force which counteracts the centripetal forces. And it also summarizes when the area will become a sub - center and how to. The urban hierarchical systems only depend on the inner laws of economy,with subway accelerating or decelerating the process.
