An efficient engineering and system design of any process and equipment consists of several factors such asrncombining utilized experience including an intuitive design and a sophisticated approach supported by all the upto-rndate techniques available. Many professional commercial software packages supporting design and operation ofrnindustrial units exist, however, frequently a demand of some specific computational tools arises. Some aspectsrn(application of a simulation system and optimization of rotary kiln incinerators) of contribution to this approach,rnhaving its origin in real industrial cases, are presented in this paper.
