Establishing the classification criteria and performing the classification for the technical solutions is an important stage in the creative process, offering a global view on the state - of- the - art and on the trends in the design of the devices for handling molten metals. The graphic individualisation of the classification criteria, drawing the chart, creating the matrix of ideas, as well as the elaboration of the generalized object of the technical creation represent stages in the creative stream that leads to new atomizing procedures and devices. Among the numerous methods for the elaboration of powders by desintegration of molten metals, the one using ultrasonic gas atomization was chosen by the author as a case study.
