A wide-viewing-angle 10-inch-diagonal full-colour active-matrix LCDusing a halftone-grayscale method

摘要

A 10-in-diagonal full-color AMLCD (active matrix liquid crystalndisplay) adopting a halftone-grayscale method has been developed withnimprovement in its pixel configuration. Each pixel is divided into threensubpixels with the subpixel-area ratio of 2.0:0.5:7.5. The developednAMLCD shows no contrast-reversed phenomena and remarkable reduction ofnchromaticity change, and achieves viewing angle twice as wide as with anconventional AMLCD
