The Chongqing YuanJiaGang Stadium is a major project in Chongqing. The whole shape of architecturernis very fancy、beautiful. The bottom of the stadium is made of concrete, and the top of it is made of steel. Afterrnbuilt, the stadium will be the longest span of Asian steel shells. The shell likes skin of watermelon,and itsrnmaterial is Q345B steel pipe. Most of the node are jointing hollow ball node, and a few is made of cast steelrnand direct jointing. In the process of design and study, in order to obtain wind vibration coefficient β of the largernspan of non-closed steel shells, emulational aeriform elasticity models of the large wind tunnel experimentationrnwas done, and it is rare at the local, and it is not much to see in the international. The results of experiment willrnprovide the reference for the parameter and criterion emendation of the similar shape's building constructionrndesign. To study interior stress and strain distribution of large casting steel node, 1:1 scale test specimens Staticrncarrying load experiments were done. The tools of experiments, the values of carrying load, the size of testrnspecimens and the complicacy of carrying load are the biggest and most difficult among all now the local andrnpublic construction engineering of carrying load experiment. Experiment various data will provide evidencernfor the casting steel the material's expansion usage and offer beneficial reference data for the establishmentrncasting steel construction design criterion. Consider the possibility of the construction project when design, andrnpractice prove that this kind of bigly span web shell construction adopt the method of ground preparing to pack,rndividing piece to pack .the method can not only work very well, but also shortened the work time, and saved therninvestment. It is very important to promote construction technique of the big span and the long suspension netrnshell structure construction technique.
