Process analysis and monitoring of the construction of reticulated shell structures with accumulative slidingrnmethod were carried out based on two large projects: The 120m-span cylindrical reticulated shell structure forrnthe coal storage of Beijing Huaneng power plant and the prestressed cylindrical shell structure for the coalrnstorage of Xinxiang power plant. It reveals that the structural behaviors of the shells will be significantly affectedrnby the construction process. And the prestress cables improve the performance of the structure in deed. It alsornindicates that the accumulative sliding method is suitable for the construction of cylindrical reticulated shells.
