摘要

The great progress of theoretical research on spatial structures has been made in China in the past 20 years,rnkeeping step with the development of spatial structures. This paper focuses on several key theoretical problems,rnand an overall review of the development of these theoretical studies in presented. These theoretical problemsrninclude the continuum theory of cable systems, the static stability of reticulated shells, design theories forrnmembrane structures and other novel-type structures, the dynamic response to seismic load and vibration controlrnof reticulated shells, the wind-induced dynamic response analysis of cable/membrane structures, the dynamicrnstability and the failure mechanism under severe seismic loads of reticulated shells, etc.
